Energy Exemplar customers already engage with us in many ways, including Xcelerate, support tickets and Xchange, where a community of customers collaborate on enhancement requests. The Product Innovation Program builds on that foundation by creating space for earlier, more strategic collaboration.

It’s designed for customers who want to look ahead, aligning product direction with real-world workflows before decisions are finalized. By engaging earlier in the process, customers can help shape capabilities, validate emerging ideas, and influence how solutions evolve to support the decisions they’re responsible for.

A refreshed Product Innovation Program, designed for collaboration

Energy Exemplar’s Product Innovation Program isn’t new, but it has been refreshed to create clearer structure, stronger feedback loops, and more visible outcomes for customers.

The program connects current Energy Exemplar customers directly with our product, design, and engineering teams. It gives you earlier visibility into what’s coming next and a direct way to influence how features are shaped before they’re released.

Participation is flexible and designed to fit your workload. Each quarter, you’ll receive an email outlining optional activities. You decide what to engage in, whether that’s previewing roadmap plans, testing new capabilities, or joining focused research sessions.

There’s no cost to join. No minimum commitment. Just meaningful collaboration when you’re able to participate.

How the Product Innovation Program works

The program follows a simple, customer-friendly cadence.

  • Quarterly invitations, optional participation: Once registered, you’ll receive a quarterly email outlining upcoming activities. You opt in only to what’s relevant to you, nothing is required.

  • Direct access to product teams: Participants collaborate directly with Energy Exemplar product, design, and engineering teams. That means clearer context, better conversations, and feedback grounded in real workflows.

  • Early access and visibility: You may be invited to preview or test new capabilities before they launch, helping refine features while there’s still time to influence outcomes.

  • Clear follow-through: When customer input shapes a release, participants are notified, closing the loop between feedback and what goes live.

Participation is open to current, paying Energy Exemplar customers using PLEXOS®, Adapt2, or other Energy Exemplar solutions.
