In this session, Jordan Kislear will examine methods for modeling Direct Air Capture (DAC) technologies within PLEXOS. He will cover the performance of emerging technologies, proxy modeling using the Generator object, and initial results concerning the impacts of DAC deployment. Kislear will also provide suggestions for how this work can be applied to other sectors, such as hydrogen production and Life Cycle Assessment studies.
