The first step in European Resource Adequacy Assessment (ERAA) is to analyse the economic viability of generation resources. To model this long-term planning problem in the context of EU electricity market, we need to overcome the computational complexities first and foremost, while keeping the problem as robust as possible.
During this session ENTSO-e focussed on the specific settings and modelling properties of PLEXOS that allowed them to perform this task.
