Energy Exemplar's pan-European gas model was used to analyse all aspects of the “Security of Supply” crisis in Europe. This presentation shows this short-term simulation model (Jul 2022 -June 2024) which takes a highly granular and deep-dive approach, capturing all the fundamentals that affect the timely availability of gas to and within Europe. You will also see the regional and country level outcomes to cold weather events, critical infrastructure failures, excessive non-market interventions and variable merchant LNG supply availability.
