Celebrating Energy Exemplar’s 25th Anniversary Around the World

This year, we celebrate 25 years of Energy Exemplar - with our clients, partners, and friends, and, most of all, with our colleagues, our amazing 'One Global Team'. We took the festivities global, touching all of our major regions to mark this milestone with the incredible teams who have driven our success. From Pune to Melbourne, Orlando to Athens, we shared laughter, memories, and excitement, strengthening bonds across regions and celebrating our collective journey.

Here’s a glimpse into the celebrations that brought our global teams together.

Pune celebration · February 2024

We kicked off our global celebrations in Pune, where the team gathered at Della Adventure Park, India’s largest extreme adventure park. The day was filled with thrilling activities and opportunities for team bonding. Meeting colleagues in person for the first time, despite working from different cities, added a personal touch to our professional relationships, deepening our sense of connection. It was a reminder of how collaboration and camaraderie fuel our collective progress.

“Meeting colleagues in person whom I had only interacted with virtually felt like bridging the gap between digital collaboration and real-world connections, adding depth to our professional relationship.” - Shruti Gaud, Associate Software Engineer at Energy Exemplar

Melbourne celebration · March 2024

Next, we traveled to Melbourne to celebrate with our APAC team. We spent a sunny day at the Rochford Winery in Yarra Valley, enjoying wine blending, team activities, and exploring the vineyards. Later, at the SEA LIFE Aquarium, we were ushered past the penguins, jellyfish and exotic fish, to enjoy an immersive dinner experience. In the breathtaking ‘Oceanarium,’ surrounded by a variety of sharks, turtles and fish swimming over our heads, we enjoyed dinner, shared stories and laughter. Our final stop was the Rainforest Room where we had dessert with the crocodiles and looked over the Southbank of Melbourne. It was a truly memorable day of togetherness, celebrating the incredible spirit of our APAC team.

Orlando celebration · April 2024

In Orlando, our Americas team started the day with a bit of friendly competition and an action-packed scavenger hunt adventure around the Universal Studios parks. The evening was a relaxing blend of music and dancing, food, and fun, complete with caricature artists, a magician, and a photo booth, creating cherished moments that strengthened our community. Beyond the thrill of competition, our 25th-anniversary celebration was a reminder of the bonds that unite us. As we laughed, cheered, and celebrated together, we were reminded of the strength of our community and the shared experiences that have defined our journey thus far.

Athens celebration · May 2024

We wrapped up the festivities in Athens with our EMEA team. A scavenger hunt took us through the vibrant streets of the city, visiting iconic sites like the Panathenaic Stadium, the ancient Roman Agora and the vibrant Monastiraki Square. We had lunch at Kuzina, where we were greeted with refreshing drinks, the perfect antidote to the summer heat. Kuzina's welcoming atmosphere provided a well-deserved break and a chance to share stories of the day. As the day came to a close, we gathered for a seaside celebration at Moorings, enjoying good food, beautiful views, and dancing the night away. It was the perfect way to cap off a series of unforgettable celebrations.
