Energy Exemplar Releases Nordic PLEXOS Dataset

Fully refreshed fundamental electricity wholesale market datasets for Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark are now available

Energy Exemplar announced today the release of their new, Nordic PLEXOS dataset. This out-of-the-box model helps PLEXOS users gain insights into Nordic power market fundamentals. The dataset includes the latest details for all 12 bidding zones for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark in PLEXOS format, enabling users with a pre-configured, robust dataset to kick-start their analysis and forecasting processes quickly and effectively.

The Nordic dataset includes:  

• Comprehensive backcast against history, using modelling assumptions compatible with those employed for other Energy Exemplar Datasets;   
• Historical Weather Years, covering profiles for load, hydro, wind (onshore and offshore), and solar;  
• Detailed plant characteristics, interconnections, and emissions modelled at plant level.   

Energy Exemplar has now completed its refresh of its datasets covering each of the four European regions (Central & Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeastern Europe & the Nordics).
