Zutari Pioneers Renewable Modelling in Africa and the Middle East

Energy Exemplar today announced a new partnership with Zutari, one of the leading engineering consultancies in Africa and the Middle East. This partnership will leverage Zutari’s strong expertise in energy and infrastructure across the entire lifecycle and value chain of energy projects with the help of powerful simulation software.

After learning that PLEXOS offers as a robust modelling platform covering the Power, Renewable, and Gas sectors, along with the use of Universal Class – it became apparent that PLEXOS would bring a completely new level of capabilities to Zutari’s services portfolio.

“We see PLEXOS as a tool for the future within the energy transition for many of our clients across Africa and the Middle East. We’re delighted at the prospect of being able to help our clients to confidently model their future, so that they may make the best investment decisions for both their business and our planet.”

- Teddy Daka, Co-Ceo of Zutari

Benefits of this new partnership include:

  • Helping businesses with the integration of renewables into the current power mix;
  • Aiding investment decisions for the expansion of renewables;
  • Being able to model Power, Water, and Gas, including Hydrogen, in one platform;
  • Enabling the modelling of sizing electrolysers and renewable requirements to convert haul trucks to Hydrogen with the use of the Universal Class.

“We are living through the greatest energy transition in history. To be able to help businesses around the world not only to understand how they can remain or become successful, but also how they can do so in a way that benefits the planet, is a real privilege.

Zutari are best placed to advise clients in the region on their energy transition decisions and we are pleased to be able to provide the tool for them to do so. I would also like to thank Zutari for being very open with a partnering mindset through the entire sales journey.”

 - Michael Schneider, Senior Vice President, Head of EMEA at Energy Exemplar
